November reminds us to give thanks for our blessings and for the fruits of our labor. We're so grateful to share another holiday season with you! This month, as fall shows off its golden hues, I've taken the liberty to reference the golden rule. We also invite clients to reconsider their tight relationships with sister locks. We mourn with Anta the loss of a family member and also acknowledge that there's a lot to celebrate here at khamit kinks. For example, there's our new and improved rewards program, a fabulous black Friday offer, our designer handbag swap, an adorable but powerful video, and even a delicious new drink!

Anta
| Our Hearts Go Out To Anta
Khamit Kinks Stylist Anta Fall has been in the U.S. for ten years. During those years she has created a special place in all our hearts here at Khamit Kinks. Back in 2005 her father died. Then her mother passed in 2007 and now her brother has passed. According to Anta, her older brother was a big brother in every sense of the word and acted as a parent to her when their parents passed. These losses have been extremely difficult for Anta. We ask all Anta's clients to please keep Anta in your prayers. Thank you!

Food For Thought

I could go on a rant about the rude and dismissive way some of our clients treat our front-desk personnel. But we've covered this before, so I'll make it short and sweet by reminding us all of the rules we should all live by.
The Golden Rule -Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.
The Platinum Rule -Do unto others as they would have you do unto them.
And many thanks to those of you who are consistently courteous!

Rewards Card

We are happy to finally have our rewards program in place and we hope you're enjoying banking your points. We'd like you to remind you to bring your cards with you each time you come in for products or services. Going forward, the only way to accrue points is by presenting your Rewards Card. Be sure to get them while they're hot (free). Starting January 1st those wanting to enter our rewards program will be required to purchase their rewards cards. Purchase price will be $25.00. Remember all rewards points are doubled for Thursday appointments

As many of you may know, we have been offering barber services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays by the super cool, Andre Tinney. Now Doc Hollywood is back! He will be here offering his barber services on Thursdays and Fridays. We hope these additional days of barber service will be an added convenience when booking your hair cut appointments. Welcome back Doc!

As with every day, we give Thanks. But during this special month of Thanksgiving, a special heartfelt Thank you extends from me and my entire staff here at Khamit Kinks to all the many clients who continue to support, admire and encourage us. This is especially humbling during these days and times. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!

Black Friday
Black Friday has become synonymous with savings, and we're going to make sure you receive savings here at Khamit Kinks too! So on Friday, November 26th from 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm - yes, six in the morning until 12 noon - come in for your "own hair" services a low flat fee. Services on Black Friday will be for the following styles: $50.00 for Your Own Hair styles, which include Twists-Outs, Two Strand Twist Wet Sets, and Loc Grooming. $10.00 Barber cuts, Hair and Scalp Treatments $35.00. All appointments are paid for in advance when making your appointment, no refunds. Bookings for Black Friday begin exactly one week before Black Friday, November 19th. So mark your calendars! |

Sister Locks are a great locking option. One thing that's really cool about them is, once they've locked, you can get them wet immediately after grooming (re-tightening) and your hair will still look fresh. Do you have a beautiful handbag? One that's in good shape, but you just haven't been using it and now it's your new dust collector?! Why not swap it for a bag you'd love to carry? Join our Designer Handbag Swap on Sunday, November 14th from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. FYI, quality handbags only, no knock-offs allowed. Smile, but I'm serious... When you post your handbag, give a brief description - designer name, style. Refreshments served.
