Love & Loss
|
February 2010
|
I
open this February newsletter with a tribute to a dear friend who has joined
the ancestors. It's fitting that she be highlighted during Black History Month,
as she certainly left her mark on her field and via the many doors she opened
for others. This month we feature a photo of a Khamit Kinks client who will
surely be turning heads with her new 'do and also tell you about a new look and
new leaf for AnuEssentials. By the
way, you're invited to a special and empowering type of kind of Valentine's Day
celebration. It's a sweet treat that we're sure you'll savor. Finally, we share
two fantastic Black History Month event tips that, if followed, will provide
artful nourishment for the mind and soul. Highly recommended!

No Valentine This Year? So What!

Last
year for Valentine's Day we offered a symposium entitled, "Bringing Back Black
Love" featuring Life Coach Karen Francis. The turnout was great and the
exchange between the sisters went on well past the presentation
time.
This year we celebrate the idea of loving one's self. No need to be sad or anxious! "Girl you better recognize you're a Goddess"! These words
emanate from the knowledge, beliefs and practices of Life Coach Noreen Sumpter.
Noreen is offering an all-day workshop on Sunday, February 14th for those who want to explore loving
themselves. Get a jump-start and come meet Noreen at Khamit Kinks,
on Friday, February 12th to experience a short and sweet introduction and
sampling of what you can expect if you attend Noreen's Valentine celebration of
you!
As
usual we will be offering treats to tantalize your taste buds. Please
RSVP for the Friday, Feb. 12th 6:30-8:30 preview with Noreen at info@khamitkinks.com
