A Good Time To Do What's Essential
Winter is the time for hibernating and rejuvenating. It's the perfect season for taking care
and pampering ourselves, because this brutal season can take a toll on our

This month we would like to acknowledge Stylist Awa Thiam for her extraordinary skills! Awa
has been with us only two years, but she has definitely made a name for
herself. As a tireless creator,
her attention to details and her willingness to explore and make each style
unique for the client, is very apparent.
Show Awa a technique once, and she's got it down to a T! She has turned out exceptional work
week after week, month after month.
She's prompt, attentive, respectful and humble. We appreciate you Awa and what you have
brought to Khamit Kinks! Awa is one of
our many talented Stylists.

Are You Listening?
At Khamit Kinks we are not ashamed to say that the health of your hair is more important than the styling of your hair. It has come to our attention that there is a lot of hair-thinning occurring among clients and prospect clients. I receive emails and posts on our blog about these concerns daily. Some current clients are receptive to making new style choices for the sake of their hair. To others, however, we ask, "Are You Listening?" Here's the deal: when your hair is thinning and you continue to do what you've been doing, your hair will continue to thin until there's little left with which to work. So you can decide to take action now and retard, or in some cases, reverse, the thinning. The other choice is to wait until you're at the point of no return, when your options have diminished considerably. Yes, I know we keep harping on this, there's a good reason why.
Our Stylists assure us that they have, on more than one occasion, discussed with you (you know who you are) the idea of changing your style for the health of your own hair. And you haven't been receptive. Consider really hearing what she or he is saying to you. Do it for your hair's sake; for the longevity of its health. Your happiness regarding your hair is our ultimate goal and we cannot achieve our goal without your participation.
