A Soulful Celebration
May 2009
Khamit Kinks is busy this month with our Spa Day, a bridal photo shoot and our "Heads Up!" celebration. We've got several tasty plates spinning at once!  As always, you are our sweet inspiration and we sincerely hope that all of you will make it out to the Kumble Theater to help us celebrate a dynamic force in our lives, our hair. As the tag-line for this event says, "Let's laugh, talk and be fearlessly tender-headed."

What a success:  Our Mother's Day / Spa Day

Mother's Day is literally around the corner and we had a blast celebrating the art of nurturing this past Sunday by pampering clients with our Day of Indulgence.  We were booked in advance for that day and it was a great success! Clients left with blissful smiles and glowing skin. In fact, our Day of Indulgence was so successful, that we're already planning for the next one.  Client, Yolanda Jones and her Star Treatment company and staff were just divine.

Some of the comments we received were:
I wish I had book more services.
I should have booked longer services.
Can't I just stay here and continue float?

A couple of clients were concerned that they were too relaxed to drive.  So stay tuned so you don't miss out on our next sublime experience.  View pics from our  Spa Day.

May you all have a Happy Mother's Day!

Aingeel is Graduating
Aingeel
Aingeel is graduating this month from Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Accessory Design. She'd previously received an A.A. degree in Jewelry design from the school, which has one of the few accessory programs in the country. Aingeel's thrilled to have completed this program and had this enriching experience. Her goal is to eventually obtain her masters degree, but for right now, she's looking forward to luxuriating in what it feels like, to "not be a student."  She plans to now work full time at Khamit Kinks as she dives into creating her accessory line in her spare time.

Aingeel has a lot going on this month with graduation on the 19th and all her peeps flying in from Cali to help her celebrate.  Then, on the 28th she'll be celebrating her birthday.  In addition to all that, she's very excited about F.I.T's display of senior projects with an open reception on May 12th. Friends, family, clients and "industry" are invited. The event starts at 5 pm.  Go Aingeel!!!  You did it and we're all very proud of you!
