Spring Count Down
March 2009
March is here, which means that spring is just a few weeks away.  Yeah, I know that's difficult to fathom with all the "white stuff" piled up!  Remember the old adage about March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb?  So don't let this cold snap throw you off.  Believe me, spring is on its way!  It has to come or I'll go stark, raving, mad!!!

With spring comes so many great ideas, happenings, and creativity, especially here in New York.  I love to see the many inspired ways in which New Yorkers adorn and visually express themselves.  It can be awe-inspiring, classic, hip, chic and sometimes down right weird and comical!  But it's all good and I looking forward to the parade of it all.

This month we're featuring client Linda Ridley and her Power event.  I'm sporting a Spring Thing. We had a fabulous time at the Bringing Back Black Love event and we explore Good Hair with Chris Rock.  We have a winner! And last but not least, we give a shout-out to all those uber-cool Piscean.

  Jump Starting Spring

Since I've been trying to rush the cold weather away and spring time toward me, I thought I'd start with my hair.  I'm wearing a style that's not at all "hat friendly".  Thank God for hoodies!  But you guys know me by now,  I could wait no longer for the Spring Thing.  So right now I'm rocking the Tom Boy and loving it.  It's so natural looking, everyone, even true hair veterans, believe it's my own hairWhat's your plan for that Spring thing?

Good Hair Question Rises Again
Good Hair

A few months ago, with much trepidation, I decided to broach the "good hair" question on my blog.  At the time, I had no idea that Chris Rock was in the process of making a film on this very topic. Here are my thoughts on the matter  "Good Hair"
