BVU's GIVE Program

Where we've been:
On June 17th, GIVE celebrated its first birthday!  At Silo Point in South Baltimore, GIVE held a one-year anniversary party and networking event, attended by 82 self-identified next generation leaders.  It was inspiring to bring everyone together, share stories and plan for the future. Check out photos from our event here!

GIVE classmates visited the American Red Cross on June 22nd to learn about the non-profit's mission and purpose.  We also hosted a fascinating panel discussion trying to understand why people volunteer.  It was an eye-opening experience!

Where we are going:
Join the GIVE class for a volunteer project on August 14th as we clean up Maryland's watershed.  Meet us and the Friends of Patapsco Valley from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm to take care of our environment.  For more information or to register, visit: www.givevolopp3.eventbrite.com

On August 19th, we host our 3rd Learning Seminar at PSA's office in Hunt Valley.  We are pleased to welcome Ed Burchell of the Baltimore Ravens as our guest.  Ed will speak about his leadership philosophy and how it has contributed to his success.  For more information or to register, visit: www.givelearningseminar3.eventbrite.com
