IT Professionals Offer Pro-bono Consulting to Baltimore Nonprofits

In partnership with BVU, the Greater Baltimore Technology Council (GBTC) will be hosting Baltimore's first "Volunteer Consulting Group" event on March 19, 2010. Through this unique event, professionals from GBTC-member companies will be offering pro-bono consulting to nonprofits facing challenges with Information Technology (IT).

Over the last year, skills-based volunteering has seen revived interest as businesses seek new innovative and meaningful ways to contribute to their communities, while encouraging the professional growth of employees. Through this event, the GBTC will leverage its resources to maximize its potential to benefit the community while creating tangible results for member companies and their employees.
