Words

Their Stories

Word

of the

Month

Word of the Month: Quest

Quest is derived from the Latin word quaesta, meaning "to seek; to ask." Originally, quest was used in connection with knights as they went in search of adventure and glory, and even today it refers to an action more bold than a simple trip to the park.

Now you know that quest means "the act of seeking or pursuing something; to search for."
