 March 2011
Shamrock girl FableFriends,

This month, as leprechauns and shamrocks are popping up everywhere, help your students find their own lucky charm by encouraging them along their paths. Sometimes just a kind word or smile can be like a pot of gold to a student who is struggling! Every educator has the power to create a magical place for students to thrive.

Speaking of magic, scroll down to meet my newborn son, Henry Rocket Reynolds!

Thank you for finding the spark in each student, and for all you do to inspire your students to grow. Please take a look at our products and services, designed to help you support them. Let's make some magic together!

Continued success on your journey,

Peter

(and Paul, and your FableVision Learning friends)

Words
And
Their Stories
™:
Word
of the
Month

Aspire comes from the Latin word aspirare, which has multiple meanings: "to breathe upon; to favor; to have an ambition or desire." However, aspire is often confused with inspire, which shares the same spirare root but contains the prefix in ("in"), as in "to breathe into." Both are rooted in the word "spirit," which originally meant "breath," but eventually came to mean "soul."

Now you know that aspire means "to desire; to hope to acquire or accomplish a particular goal."
