St. Luke's Health Initiatives is a Phoenix-based public foundation focused on Arizona health policy and strength-based community development. Find out more about SLHI here.
Roger Hughes, SLHI's CEO since the organization's transition from a hospital system to a foundation in 1995, is retiring at the end of 2011 after 16 years of service. A search for his successor is now actively underway. (healthworksaz.org)
"If I had to apply back in 1995 for the position as it exists today, I wouldn't have qualified for the job," Hughes said. "SLHI is a true learning organization. It's our greatest strength." You can read more of Hughes' reflections on his time at SLHI in The Drift.
m/Oppenheim Associates, a national leadership search firm specializing in nonprofits, has been retained to conduct the search. A position description is available on their website. All inquiries should be directed to the search firm, and not to SLHI.
