Dragon Happenings
Dear Imagine Families,
Thanks to your fundraising efforts, the PTO has again provided a subscription to BrainPop and BrainPop Jr. This online subscription is available at home or school. BrainPop is for Grades 3-8 and BrainPop Jr is for K-2.
- The username is imaginelol and
- The password is 6measures.
Have fun exploring, watching the videos, playing the games and learning alongside your child! The Cookie Dough fundraiser is underway and the PTO is working closely with the school to identify our priorities. They recently ordered a divider for the gym/cafeteria, a second set of stairs for the stage, and is planning to help us purchase additional computers for the classrooms. I don't have access to the October breakfast and lunch menu this weekend, so watch your e-mail for the menu later tonight or tomorrow. A reminder to parents that we cannot accept dismissal changes or pickups past 3:00pm. It is a hectic time of day, and we need to limit disruptions to the classroom.
Thank you again for your support of Imagine School. We are 20 students from our capacity of 654 students this school year. We have seats available in most grades, but none in kindergarten. If you've applied, please contact us if you'd like to enroll your child!

Can Drive
|
This year the 7th grade students are giving back to their community by helping an organization called Feeding America. Feeding America is an organization that helps area shelters, residential group homes, and kids' after school programs. The 7th grade students are asking for your help to feed America by bringing in your can and boxed food to your child's homeroom teacher. The students will be collecting the food throughout the week of October 8 to October 12. The students will then delivery the collected food during their field trip on Friday, October 19th. Thank you in advance for your support! |
New Character Trait
|
We are starting to learn about a new character trait: Responsibility
Do what you are supposed to do * Plan ahead * Persevere: keep on trying! * Always do your best * Use self-control * Be self-disciplined * Think before you act - consider the consequences * Be accountable for your words, actions, and attitudes * Set a good example for others
You can help at home! Please discuss the importance of responsibility with your child, and do what you can to add the word responsibility and the parts of it into your daily communication with your child.
