We are excited to introduce you to our first e-newsletter. We continually look for ways to enhance communications with our board members and homeowners. We will be bringing you important information about your property, association updates, and helpful tips on a regular basis. LMI is wrapping up the annual inspections on the condominium properties and preparing for budget time. Your association manager is already in the process of gathering quotes for budgeting purposes on the more expensive items such as snow removal, landscaping and fertilization as well as less expensive items such as pest control, pool contracts and pond maintenance. Budgets will be presented to all Board members in the fall.

CAI (Community Associations Institute) held their fall luncheon and vender exhibit on Friday, August 13, 2010. Chuck Glover, LMI President, serves on the Board of Directors for CAI's Northeastern Ohio Chapter. He attended the event along with Donna McCrory, Office Manager; and Association Managers Lisa Flynn & Georgette Mangan. LMI is active in CAI in order to monitor industry changes and utilize its continuing education opportunities.

As you may be aware, AAFS is LMI 's bank of choice for the associations we manage. The guest speaker at the CAI event was Craig Huntington of AAFS (Alliance Association Financial Services), who began his career in association management in 1980 before becoming President of AAFS. Craig is also a well-respected and distinguished industry and motivational speaker.

We added cabinets to the laundry area and converted empty space into a half bath and a TV/Game Room. New carpeting and soft lighting created an additional warm, functional living space for the homeowner."
