Almost Sleepover!
(This Saturday night from 6:30pm-10:00pm)
 The "Almost Sleepover" is our kid drop-off event where parents get a night out! Children have a great night of fun in the discovery center playing games, doing crafts, having dinner AND participating in a community service project. This Almost Sleepover we will be focusing on giving back of our time and talents to our Armed Forces Soldiers who are overseas by bringing items for care packages as well as writing cards/letters and making crafts for the soldiers. We invite girl and boy scouts to contact us for group rates and badge information! Kids will also be helping a local group, Super Star Kids Club, by packing snack bags for them to distribute to local underprivileged children.
The fee is $20 per child ($15 for members) and registration is required by calling 985-340-9150 or emailing Kim Walker at kim@lcdcofhammond.org. (We also invite scouts looking to earn a community service badge to register! |

Toddler Time Changes for Summer!
 You asked and we listened! We understand the importance of socialization, playtime and discovery for all ages, including our little bitty friends. Toddler Time is for children 4 years and younger.
NEW SUMMER TODDLER TIME HOURS!!
TUESDAYS FROM 9:30AM-10:30AM
You and your toddler can register to come out for an hour-long program devoted just to your toddler!
Children will socialize, play and enjoy the following activities during the program:
Edible Craft (imagine eating a teddy bear, rainbow or funny frog craft!)
Literature time
Music
Movement
After the class is over, we invite you to enjoy discovery time on the exhibit floor of the discovery center. This program requires pre-registration and payment and is limited to 15 children per session. The fee is is $10 (non-members) per child or $8 (member) per child. To register please call 985-340-9150 or email us at kim@lcdcofhammond.org! If you plan to register for one month of Toddler Time's the rate will be reduced to $35 per non-member or $30 per member.
