Patriotic Songs Singing Contest!

 Once again, we're happy to announce our Annual Singing Contest. This year we're making a minor change: this year instead of singing the National Anthem, contestants may sing their favorite Patriotic song. Feel free to share the flier! There is no fee to participate. (Guests will need to pay admission at the door)

 Discovery the properties of polymers with this colorful "Silly Putty" which is sure to delight your little ones!
We'll learn how to make this super fun kid-loving slime with easy to gather materials so that you can easily make this at home!
This activity is appropriate for kids ages 2 and up! **Included with admission of $5.50 per person**

Bayou Builders Lego League Workshop!

 Thursday, March 29 from 5-7pm
If your child has been interested in joining our Bayou Builders Lego League then this workshop is for her! This Robotics workshop is being held to introduce potential team members of the Bayou Builders Lego League to programming of the NXT Lego Mindstorm Robot. Attendees must be ages 9-14 and pre-registered. They will leave this workshop having experienced some of the programming using the NXT software and understand what is required to be a part of the Lego League. Easter Pillow Making - $10 for members or $12 for non-members. This class is appropriate for ages 5 and up
Tuesday- Friday, April 3-6 at 2:00pm Easter Egg Hunt - Join us for a big Easter Egg Hunt inside the discovery center Wednesday, April 4 at 3:00pm
Children ages 4 and up are invited to register to receive a set of 6 Easter Egg shaped sugar cookies from Sweet Ideas the Cake Shoppe. Each child will be taught how to design and decorate their set of Easter Egg cookies. This workshop will last from 3-4:30pm. Please email for more info or to register.
