Patriotic Songs Singing Contest!

 Once again, we're happy to announce our Annual Singing Contest. This year we're making a minor change: this year instead of singing the National Anthem, contestants may sing their favorite Patriotic song. Feel free to share the flier! There is no fee to participate. (Guests will need to pay admission at the door)

Smokin' Blues & BBQ - THIS Weekend!

 March 23-24 in Downtown Hammond
This year the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center, TARC & Special Olympics Louisiana are benefiting from the Blues & BBQ. Be sure to check out the website for all of the information! The discovery center will be helping with the 1 Mile Fun Run & 5K on Saturday morning at Cate Square Park. We also have a lot of fun going on at the " Chicken Little" Kids BBQ Chicken Competition.  Keep you eye out for the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile at the BBQ this weekend too! Come out for live music, food, fun and more! If you'd like to support the discovery center we're inviting all of our patrons to join us for the " Opening Ceremony & Lighting of the BBQ Pits" on Friday at 4pm. Please come out and join us as we parade from City Hall (downtown Hammond across from the library) to the event location along the railroad tracks. Decorate your little red wagon and join us at 4pm! |

Special thanks to our very own Ms. Baylie for helping to coordinate and to the Early Childhood Education Teacher Candidates from Southeastern's Teaching & Learning Department for creating such great lessons!
