Come out for a day of fun sponsored by Kleinpeter Dairy Farms!
Thanks to Kleinpeter Farms kids will enjoy:
- learning how we get milk/ice cream from the farm to your table
- ice cream treats from Kleinpeter
- learning how to make their own ice cream in a ziplock bag!
- watch a video "Moo to You"
- make a cow craft
Activities are free with your $5.50 admission!

 This day is all about your pets! Thank you to Shear Heaven Mobile Pet Grooming for sponsoring this day!
- Ms. Courtney, a Vet Tech, from Animal Care Center will be here from 10am-1pm to teach your kiddos about important pet care in the Pet Vet Exhibit Area
- Pet Adoptions from the Tangi Humane Society! Stop by to see some precious, adoptable new family members!
- Shear Heaven Mobile Pet Grooming will have her mobile van parked here offering dog baths for $20 and she is donating all proceeds to the discovery center for the day! To reserve a spot for your dog's bath, please contact Ms. Melissa at 504-458-3853! She will also talk to children about the proper way to bathe your dog and special grooming information.

Discover a New Hobby!
|

January 26 from 4:30pm-6:00pm
January is National Hobby Month - what is your hobby? Does your child have a hobby? This is the perfect event to introduce your child to a new hobby and get involved in something which will bring great joy!
We are happy to welcome the following hobbies to our Hobby Fair and hope that your child is inspired to pick up a new hobby! Visit a variety of stations including:
- Quilting with Cynthia Torres
- Duct Tape Creations with Garrett Sherman
- Louisiana Geocaching
- Instrument Petting Zoo
- Hammond Hobbies sponsoring the Tangi R/C Flyers Association. They will be here with some fun R/C planes, helicopters and maybe some cars for you! Come see if this is the hobby for you!
- Northshore Scale Modelers (they will be here with free scaled models for children on SATURDAY, January 28 from 10am-12pm
