Little Lion Fans Pep Rally for Southeastern!

 Let's teach our little fans to support the home team early on! To kick of Southeastern's Homecoming week at the discovery center we invite all our Little Lion Cubs to stop by for a fast, fun Pep Rally!
- Free green-n-gold cupcakes to the first 50 kids (Thanks to Albertsons for donating!)
- Spirit provided by members of Southeastern Cheerleadering & Dance Team and members of the Southeastern Marching Band
- Special guest appearances by Athletes from the Southeastern Volleyball, Baseball, Soccer & Women's Basketball
- Roomie!
- Spirit-fille freebies for kids thanks to Southeastern!

We want to celebrate our cookie-hungry friend Cookie Monster with you on this special day!

All of this is free BUT there is one little "extra"...

Dads Can Cook Too!

Friday, November 4 at 4:30pm-6:30pm
 Come and celebrate Men Can Cook Too Day and give mom a night off. Kids, bring Dad out and cook dinner together then bring it home and surprise mom with that awesome cooking talent! You will prepare a "take home" meal using some "cool kitchen tools" from Pampered Chef. Leave with dinner and a kitchen tool!
This activity is for children of any age (with DAD). The fee for this class is $26 per FAMILY (members) and $30 per FAMILY (non-members). Please call 985-340-9150 or email us to register!

X-Ray-Diology!

 Tuesday, November 8 from 10am-1pm
On the day that the X-ray was discovered, November 8, we're happy to have some eXpert radiologists from North Oaks Health System here to educate our little friends on the science behind the X-ray, how they're done, why and a whole slew of other fun edu-facts about this topic that wows kids of all ages!
Join us from 10am-1pm in our Pet Vet area to see real sample X-rays, learn alot and have a blast!

Veterans Day
|
 Friday, November 11 10am-6pm
- Free admission for Veteran's
- Gameday with a Veteran (come with your favorite Veteran and play board games in our party room) beginning at 4:00pm
- Veteran's Day storytime at 4:30pm
- Craft stations for children to create crafts to send to soldiers overseas
- Honor Veterans on our "Hands of Honor Wall"
- Special treats for our Veterans and their friends at 5:00pm
