January is National Hobby Month!  Does your child have a hobby? Inspire them to find one this month!

Beginning Friday, January 21 we will host a variety of fun activities for your children. Some events have a fee and some are free but no matter which you choose please email Kim Walker to register for the class to help us prepare! Thank you!

Saturday,  January 22 - Pick-A-Hobby: Northshore Scale Modlelers ~ The Northshore Scale Modelers will be here from 9:00am-12:00pm.  There will be 6 different 30 minute sessions.  Children will participate in a "make-n-take" where they will make a model of their choice (for example: plane, car, spaceship). There is no fee for this workshop but you must register. 

Tuesday, January 25 - Pick-A-Hobby: Fresh Flower Arranging ~ Especially For You Florist will be here to assist interested children in creating their own fresh flower arrangement.  The Class is from 4:00-5:00pm and the cost is $17 for members and $20 for non-members.  Please don't forget to register!

Wednesday, January 26 - Pick-A-Hobby: "Be A Maker": Drawdio ~ Make a Drawdio! This fun activity will have children thrilled to have made their own pen that plays music while it writes.  The best part "Look, Mom! I made it myself!" The cost for this class is $18 for members and $20 for non-members.  This class will be from 3:30 - 5:00pm. Please register!


Thursday, January 27 - Pick-A-Hobby: Instrument Petting Zoo ~ This fun session will introduce children to the world of music by allowing them to experience a variety of different musical instruments and hopefully inspire them to pick up music as their new hobby!  This event will be held from 3:30 - 5:00pm and is free but registration is appreciated!



Friday, January 28 - Pick-A-Hobby: Origami 411 ~ Have a fun Friday afternoon experiencing the art of paper folding.  Learn to make some basic Origami animals and other objects.  This class is from 3:30 - 5:00pm and is free but registration is appreciated!
