All week long (October 19-23) we will join our hometown Southeastern Lions in celebrating Homecoming week! Our Homecoming activities include:
Tuesday, October 19: Wear your wild, wacky green & gold or mismatched socks and make a Lion Pennant to take home! Wednesday, October 20: Show your Lion pride with your favorite green-n-gold t-shirt. Thursday, October 21: Kids are putting their prideful paw prints on the windows of the Creation Station! Friday, October 22: Have fun making Lion masks inside the Creation Station Saturday, October 23: Come out and give "Roomie" a High-5! He'll be here to visit with the kids of the discovery center beginning at 11am! It's Gameday wear your Southeastern colors while having a roar'n good time!

Jungle Book Day!
Join your friends on Tuesday, October 19 for a fun day of jungle play! Come dressed as your favorite Jungle Book (or just jungle!) character. We'll have Jungle music playing and jungle animal crafts in our Creation Station! Watch out when you hear the "Bear Necessities" song there's no telling what might happen!
New Friends Day
New friends day at the museum is about taking a a moment to meet the friends around you. Crafts, games and spontaneous bursts of song will give kids of all ages a fun chance to say hi to a new friend.
Don't forget to...bring a friend with you!

It's Make a Difference Day!
Saturday, October 23 is National Make a Difference Day and the children's discovery center would like to invite all kids to come out and make a difference....for other kids. All arts & crafts made in the Creation Station on this day will be donated to our local Hospital, North Oaks to be distrubuted to the children in the hospital.
