As we discussed in the parent meeting we have finalized our schedule for this FIRST Lego League.
Scheduling info:Mondays from 5:15 - 6:15pm beginning August 23, 2010.The first two Mondays (Aug 23 & Aug 30) will be team-building, "get to know you" meetings. We will skip the following Monday (Labor Day) and resume on Monday, September 13. Please plan to arrive and be ready to begin at 5:15. We will end promptly at 6:15 each Monday night.
WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS! We are looking for parent volunteers to manage/lead in three key areas.
- Skit
- Research
- Robot
If you are interested in leading this portion of the FIRST Lego League, please let us know. It is very important for the students to be the thinkers & doers in the FLL but this adult volunteer will be responsible for the mentoring/assisting with these 3 very important parts of the FLL. If your child is allergic to anything food related, please let us know so that we can be sure to provide the appropriate snacks.
