Meet Our Program Coordinator for the CNA1 Program!!

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer Orsak to the Guiding Lights team!

Jennifer Orsak
Jennife Orsak

Program Coordinator, CNA1 Program

[email protected]

Jennifer received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UNC-CH in 1990. She currently resides in Holly Springs, NC with her husband and son.  Most recently she has taken time away from her career as a nurse to stay home during her son's preschool years. Prior to this her main work history was centered in Long Term Care. She has experience both as an administrative nurse in long term care and as a state surveyor for both North and South Carolina. She is very excited about Guiding Lights and what it has to offer the community. As a state surveyor she encountered many nursing assistants who were excellent and conversely those who were negligent. It is her aspiration that the Guiding Lights Nursing Assistant program will identify caring and compassionate individuals and provide them with the knowledge and training to become memorable caregivers who strive for excellence. Additionally she is appreciative of the support that Guiding Lights will provide for caregivers. Jennifer's mother suffers from Vascular Dementia and she understands the heart break and demands which families face as they strive to care for their loved ones.

Consider helping Guiding Lights and the caregivers that we serve by becoming a community partner.  Email Nicole Bruno for more information.
