Generac Named Manufacturer of the Year

Waukesha-based Generac Holdings Inc. was named the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year in the "mega category" by the Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) Thursday night.
Generac has experienced consistent growth, even in the face of a difficult economy. They responded to the unprecedented demands for emergency power in the wake of Hurricane Irene and the unanticipated autumn snowstorm in the Northeast. Generac's consistent success has allowed the company to reinvest not only in their company, but also in the state of Wisconsin.
Aaron Jagdfeld, president & CEO of Generac will share his insights on facing the challenges of building a rapidly growing company at the Manufacturing Matters! conference on May 9 at the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee.

Wisconsin is Exporting!
In 2011, Wisconsin recorded over $22.0 billion in exports, an increase of 11.4% from the previous year. The state also ranks 18th in the country in export value. Over the next decade, markets in Asia, Canada, Mexico and South America are projected to outpace domestic growth.
Where do you stand among these figures? In this new economic landscape, a global strategy for growth is no longer a question of 'when', but is more a question of 'how'. |
