The Atlanta Wood Bat Instructional League (AWBIL) is a collegiate summer program for collegiate athletes that desire to enhance their skill set during the off season.
Last year the AWBIL Royals competed in the Great South League a 6-8 week competitive collegiate wood bat summer baseball league in the southeastern region of the United States. The GSL consist of twenty-two teams representing six (6) states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia). Furthermore, it was noted by prominent baseball publications that the GSL was one of the top 25 summer collegiate wood bat leagues with the potential to reach elite status.
AWBIL had only one team to compete in the West Division of the GSL and this year looks to expand to as many 4-6 teams. With this being said, AWBIL will have plenty of roster spots available for players looking to develop their skill set while having the opportunity to get onto the field.
Any interested player can go to www. Great South League and complete a player contract and advised that you are submitting your information to AWBIL Royals.
If there are any additional questions with respect to the league or otherwise please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.
