Marki Microwave continues to expand its popular Two-Tone Terminator (T3) mixer line with the new T3A3-08 mixer-amplifier. The T3A3-08 combines the benefits of an integrated square-wave LO drive with a T3-08 mixer (10 MHz to 8 GHz) to deliver outstanding IIP3 and spurious performance in a compact, cost-effective package. The performance is achieved using a specially designed LO amplifier capable of delivering square-wave drive to the mixer, using only a 0 dBm sine wave input (see Figure). More significantly, the T3A3 eliminates the need for a user-supplied power amplifier (PA) to drive the mixer, significantly reducing the power requirements, engineering difficulty, BOM cost, and time to market for high dynamic range applications. The T3A3-08 is truly a "plug and play" option for anyone interested in harnessing the tremendous advantages of T3 mixer technology. |
