4-way power dividerMarki Microwave has expanded its power divider family by introducing new 4-way power dividers.  The model PD4-0218 covers 2-18 GHz while the PD4-0120 covers 1-20 GHz.  Both dividers offer outstanding isolation and closely matched port-to-port amplitude and phase balance.  As Wilkinson-type dividers, these devices are reciprocal units which can be used to split or combine signals.  In power division applications, the energy is evenly distributed to each of the 4 outputs which are isolated from one another and closely track each other.  The PD4-0218, for example, has output isolation of more than 20 dB with output tracking typically to within 0.2 dB and 2 degrees.  Housed in a package smaller than a 3x5 inch index card, microwave designers can now develop compact systems using these new power dividers.
