DAC Aviation Successfully Completes 2010 AS9110: 2003/ISO 9001: 2008  Surveillance Audit

BSI

January 31, 2011 - Montreal, Canada

  Starting at 100%

Following initial AS9110 & ISO 9001 certification in 2009, DAC Aviation has successfully completed a 2010 Surveillance Audit obtaining a final audit score of 100%. The implication of the 100% score is not the existence of an ideal Quality Management System requiring no future development or process adjustment. What the score does reflect is the effectiveness of established processes to identify, document and rectify non-conformances. It serves as an indicator that, as an organization, we are committed to continual improvement and growth; that our system is stringent enough to conform to all regulatory requirements as well as being dynamic and able to evolve. As customer requirements, regulations and markets develop it is this dynamism that will allow our company to quickly and efficiently respond to the changing environment.

In 2011 the DAC quality management landscape will be reshaped with the incorporation of risk management and additional systematic process measurement and evaluation tools. Departments company-wide will participate in the implementation process ensuring that DAC Aviation continues to meet regulatory requirements and exceed customer expectations.

All quality initiatives will continue to be lead by Nick Sisto, Quality Assurance Manager with the full support of the President and established internal audit team.
