THE MARIN FAMILIES IN TRANSITION FAIR SSTM was on hand at the first annual Marin Families in Transition Fair, providing free balance tests to fair attendees. The event was held at the Marin YMCA on September 18th and featured over 40 businesses showcasing their services. SSTM provided free balance assessments and raffled off a free Golf Fitness Screening and Training Session ($199 Value). Congratulations to Ron P., on his win. If your company or organization is hosting a health fair and would like us to provide health, injury or balance assessments, give us a call. We would be happy to help. Also, if you would like a free balance assessment, make an appointment at either of our offices: 898-1311 (Novato) or 457-4454 (San Anselmo).

Steve and his staff get my highest recommendation. I've worked on three different areas of concern: stiff neck, painful knees and weak ankle. All 3 areas have improved! I have daily exercises I will pursue because I truly understand the connection... So pleased to have worked with the staff here -- they are very knowledgeable and professional.
-- Chandra Z.
Everyone was very helpful and attentive to my needs. I felt like everyone was very knowledgeable and that I was in good hands. The entire staff was very friendly and I will miss them! --Amber L.
I've had many injuries and seen many therapists. SSTM is by far the best. Their people/patient skills are amazing. Their one-on-one work is extremely helpful. They supply the patient with a tremendous amount of information about their injury.
-- Alejandro H.
I was very pleased with my experience at SSTM. Everyone who worked with me was helpful and helped me to reach my goals. I can now walk comfortably and drive and feel like I am almost back to where I was before I had surgery.

Dear ,
I hope you are enjoying the amazing Indian summer we've been having the past few weeks. It's hard to believe it's October, which is one of our most favorite months at SSTM. October is National Physical Therapy Month, where physical therapists across the U.S. promote their services and educate their communities on the benefits of physical therapy.
In recognition of National Physical Therapy Month, SSTM is offering a free 15-minute consultation throughout the month of October to anyone who may be suffering from ongoing pain and or diminished mobility. You can find more details about this promotion below.
Also, if you are 65 years or older, don't miss the home fall prevention checklist in this email. Thirty percent of this age group will be injured in a fall, some critically. Learn what you need to do to keep yourself safe.
As we mentioned in our previous newsletter, you will soon be receiving an email survey that will help us determine your needs. We want to know if there are additional services you wish we provided and/or classes and seminars you'd like to see offered. Please help us to help you, by responding to our survey when you receive it. We're here for you, so let us know how we can improve and expand our services.

Each year, National Physical Therapy Month highlights the benefits of
physical therapy, the partnership between therapist and patient and common
conditions that are treatable with physical therapy including back and neck
pain, overuse injuries, sports injuries and other ailments from trauma or age. National Physical Therapy Month provides the opportunity
for anyone who is living with pain or decreased mobility to learn more about physical therapy and how it can improve their quality of life.
In celebration of National Physical Therapy Month, SSTM is offering FREE 15-minute consultations with a licensed physical therapist through the month of October. If you are suffering from ongoing pain or injury, or know someone who is, contact SSTM's Novato clinic (415-898-1311) or San Anselmo
clinic (415-457-4454) to schedule an appointment. During the free consultation,
patients can expect an experienced, licensed physical therapist to listen to
their concerns, conduct a brief physical screen, and explain how physical
therapy can help. Can't make it into one of our clinics? Set up a phone appointment with one of our PT's. Sometimes, just a 15-minute consultation is all it takes to get started on the path to health and wellness!
