There's still time to register for spring classes! TCC offers a second eight week spring session that starts March 15th. Registration is open and classes on local bases are still available.

March 8-13 - Spring Break, Campuses remain open, no classes held March 15 - Second Eight Week classes begin March 22 - Last day to add or change a Second Eight Week class
March 23 - Last day to drop a Second Eight Week class for a tuition refund April 16 - Last day to withdraw without academic penalty from a Second Eight Week class May 10 - Spring semester ends
May 14 - Graduation |

Children of Enlisted Military Personnel Scholarship
Do you have a military dependent starting college in the fall? Good news!
In appreciation of those who have stood by our servicemen and servicewomen, Tidewater Community College will be awarding five one-year scholarships to the sons and daughters of enlisted personnel, one each from the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy. The application deadline is June 30, 2010. Application and criteria are available on the military website.

Virtual assisting is an emerging business industry with high growth potential. A Virtual Assistant is a highly skilled professional who provides ongoing one-on-one administrative support and other specialized services to small or large businesses. Becoming a Virtual Assistant gives you the freedom to work when and where you want. TCC's Virtual Assistant program, with certificate of completion, will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to launch a successful and rewarding career.
If you are someone who enjoys working with clients on an equal footing, wants the freedom to work independently, a military spouse, or someone whose family life doesn't fit into a "traditional" work schedule, this may be the program for you.
