State of the School Meeting Date Change

Please note that we are moving the date of the important State of the School meeting from April 26th to May 3rd. Please adjust your calendars accordingly.

Treats Needed to Help Sister School!

The Student Council will be holding another Bake Sale Tuesday, March 27th after school to continue to help our sister school in Nicaragua.  All proceeds will go to help buy needed supplies for the school such as books, paper, pens, and even desks. Right now the school is more like a covered area, so our funds might even go to help put up some walls and windows! Please drop off your donated goodies to Ms. Covington's room on Tuesday morning, and then remember to swing by after school in the upper and lower lots to help purchase all the treats so we can help our "neighbors" in need. Also, we are in need a few adults to help set prices and oversee the kids from 1:30-2:15pm. Email Ms. Covington if you are interesting in helping out. Any amount of time you could spare would be really helpful. Thanks!

New Student in 1st grade

We are thrilled to advise that Max Herendeen has joined us in Mrs. Kirwan's 1B class.  He has just moved here from California with his Mom and Dad (Jill and Jon) and his little sister Mia who will join us at Sacred Heart in kindergarten in the fall.   Welcome, welcome!

Online Registration for 2012-2013

We are getting close to sending out our emails inviting you to register your student(s) for next school year!  We are working hard to make some great changes including the option to pay registration and mandatory fees with a credit card.  We will send a special bulletin on the day that we are ready for you to go online and enroll.  Our system sends the enrollment invitation and related snap code (one per student) to the email address currently set up as your family's primary email and that could be either mom or dad or guardian.  On the day of the special bulletin alert, If you do not find an enrollment email in your inbox, please check your spouse's accordingly.

Eastside Crusaders Junior Football (ECJF)

Eastside Crusaders Junior Football (ECJF) is currently accepting registrations from parochial school players who have an interest in learning the sport of football in a faith-based environment. ECJF was started so parochial school students could play football together with their classmates regardless of where they live (most junior football programs on the Eastside have geographic boundaries). ECJF is a contact football program for players from 7-14 and teams are structured by age & weight. All practices and home games are held in the stadium at Eastside Catholic High School. For more information, please visit the website or email ECJF President Mike Shigley.

Sacred Heart CYO News

CYO Summer Camps

CYO Summer Camps provide an amazing opportunity to kids to experience the fun of camp (singing around the campfire, swimming in the sun, hiking through the woods, just to name a few!), while also growing closer to God in a Catholic setting. The only thing better than spending a week at camp is spending a week at camp with a good friend or two!

Last summer a group of SHS 6th grade boys all coordinated to be at Camp Don Bosco during the same week, and another group of 8th grade girls set it up to be at Camp Hamilton at the same time. If your child is interested in finding out what camp is all about, but is nervous about going alone think about getting together a group of friends to all go for the same session!

The time is now to register. Visit the website for more information, or stop by the information table that will be in the Narthex after all 3 Masses this weekend (March 24 and 25).
