Fantasy Football League

If you have a student in grades 4 - 8 who LOVES Football...This is an SHS Party you don't want to miss!
Start your season Monday, September 5th, 2011 from 4 to 7pm with a Fantastic Fantasy Football Draft Party!Pizza and beverages will be provided! The winner will receive the official SHSFantasyFootball "Mini-Helmet" Trophy.

Watch the mail for auction Sponsorship opportunities as well as Procurement  information for those of you that like to get a head start on Back to School chaos!

 

Pre-K Start of School Information

Hours on the first day are 8:30-11:30am. Parents please bring your student directly to the Pre-K classroom.

Parents are encouraged to come in on the first day to take pictures and see the classroom.

After saying goodbye to your Pre-K student, please join our other families in the gym for the Back to School Coffee.

 

Kindergarten Start of School Information

Hours on the first day are 8:30-11:35am.

Please bring your child to the church for the First Day Assembly, from there you can follow your child to their kindergarten classroom. Parents are encouraged to come to the classroom to take pictures and see the classroom. After saying goodbye to your kindergartener, please join the other families in the gym for the Back to School Coffee. Kindergarteners gradually are brought into the full day program over the course of the first week and a half. Schedule is as follows:

Aug 31st:8:30-11:35am

Sept 1st and Sept 2nd: 8:30-11:50am

Sept 6th-Sept 9th: 8:30-12:15pm, students stay for lunch.

 

Full-payment Tuition Option

Those families who have selected to pay their tuition in one payment need to do so by September 1st, 2011. This deadline is the second day of school. Checks should be made out to Sacred Heart School. Thank you.

 

Summer Skill Workbooks

Please note that incoming 1st through 3rd graders are required to complete both the language art and math skill books.

Summer Skills is a review of the grade just completed, so for example, first graders are to complete the Kindergarten books.

Incoming 4th through 8th graders are required to complete the math skill book and the required reading book for their grade and packet, which is on the website.

Still available at the school office for purchase are the following Summer Skill books:

K: seven Language Art books

K: six Math books

4th: one Math book

6th: one Math book

The books are $16 each.

 

Asbestos Compliance

Please see the SHS website for our letter stating compliance with the Federal Asbestos Hazardous Emergency Response Act.

 

Sweatshirt Embroidery

Barn Swallow Embroidery Design has offered to embroider the back of our Sacred Heart sweatshirts for $5 each.

Safe Environment Training Class

September 7th, in Parish Hall, from 6-9 pm.

All new volunteers are required to complete this class.

 

Safeway Club Card eScrip Back-to-School Promotions

Please register your Safeway Club Card on eScrip so the school can automatically receive credit on your purchases.

Mark your calendars - between August 10 and September 13, purchase any of the select thousands of items marked with the "school bus" tags and the school will earn 10% of the purchase price.

Look for a message that prints on your receipt between September 19 and October 9. If the receipt has a redemption code - turn it into the school office.
