BYDS Ready to Lift Curtain and Shine Spotlight on Annual Gala
March 10 Event at Intercontinental
All Set to Honor Swartz, Raizner, Daniels and Kaplan
With just eight days to go, the 2012 BYDS Gala is making final preparations for the big night at Houston's Intercontinental Hotel. This year's theme, "The Start of Something Big," indeed captures the dual celebration of the people behind the new school building and outstanding volunteerism. Moreover, the special focus this year is to support what is central to the new school facility, the school's Levit Family Library and its many needs from much-needed furnishings, to new book acquisitions, to e-reader technologies and equipment.
But a spectacularly fun night will be staged, with silent and live auctions, including all those great teacher treats and services for the kids, plus raffle drawings, terrific eats and much more! What's up for the auction? How about a house in Carmel? Or a $5,000 gift certificate to Zadok's? Or an adorable new puppy? Great restaurant occasions, incredible sporting tickets-and much much more!
The Gala planning team, with Gavi Roisman as our masterful chair, are still poised to take your cards-the time is running short, so hurry to make your plans official and join us for The Start of Something Big-it's all about a brighter future for our BYDS students.
