Delve into Twelve after Drop-Off
usher in 2012 with another
BYDS Free Coffee and Treats
for Parents on Wednesday, January 4, 2012
In the Front Lobby

After Wednesday's drop-off, please join us for Free Coffee and Treats in the Front Lobby! Whether you drive through the drop-off for your Elementary, Three's or Pre-K children, or if you walk in with your little ones, we would like you to park or stay parked, come on in, hang out and enjoy a cup of straight or flavored coffee and have a treat to help you delve into 2012. We had such a fun time at our "Coffee on the Ones" back on 11.11.11 that we're doing it again, and we hope to do it much more often during the second half of the school year.

Bright, New CDO Classrooms

Bright, new CDO classrooms
to welcome influx
of new BYDS families in January
 | |
This newly constructed CDO room features IKEA furnishings plus new play equipment.
|
Two completely renovated classrooms, including an entirely brand new classroom, are ready to welcome several additional BYDS families in January. Construction and renovation on the classrooms included installing additional lighting overhead, putting up drywall, painting the rooms a bright color, with the one newly constructed room having new furnishings from Ikea. The winter break period gave the school an opportunity to complete construction and renovation on the two CDO classrooms--these classrooms are designed for the youngest BYDS students--those 15 month to two years old. Many thanks go to our friend Michael Duke and EC Principal Riana Sherman who devoted much of their winter break time getting these rooms ready for our newest students, who will be filling nearly all the available slots for the added class.

The newly renovated CDO room features bright walls and added light.

| BYDS Gets BUFF during Break |

During the Winter Break, BYDS floors received a shiny buff as the school prepared for the second half of the school year. The midwinter period was an opportunity to get the school ready for the students and teachers--cleaner carpets, a deep cleaning of all desk surfaces, and shiny buffing on all the tile floors. Stop in next Wednesday, grab some free coffee, and check out the spruced up appearance!
