Annual Meeting Minutes
February 3, 2011

Dear HHC members and interested parties,

Sorry for the late information and also hope that everyone is surviving the ice storm.  I know it has been difficult for several people.

Our annual meeting was held on January 17th, with election of new officers.  Welcome Earl Smith back as President and Rex Zenor as Vice-President. We also have a new secretary in Edna Yeager, we really appreciate her willingness to serve.  We are still looking for a treasurer but are extremely grateful that Steve Hatch is willing to stay on in this position until we find someone.   Thank you to Mike Dale, Director of the County Planning Commission, for coming to share information with our group.

Our next meeting is on Monday, February 2nd at 7 pm.  I hope the ice has cleared off that many of you can attend.  This meeting will be especially informative for Market Masters and market vendors.  We will have Denise Giddens and another representative from the Indiana State Department of Health as guests to talk about WIC and Senior Vouchers. We have also made arrangements with Richard Simon, the Hancock County Weights and Measures Inspector to come to inspect scales that vendors use at the markets.  So all vendors, please bring your scales.  This is a State Inspection, so you do not have to vend in Hancock County to have your scales inspected.

The planning committee will be meeting at 6pm, prior to the regular meeting to work on calendar events for the year.  All members are welcome to participate in this planning.

Membership - We continue to welcome new members. For current members who have not submitted your dues, see Invoice link below (in the member benefits section), you can print it off and send it in with your payment.  Also send me any updates to your web page.  Dues must be received by March 1st to be included in this years BFBL Directory.
