ARMY'S ARMY HAPPENINGS
To all the brave men and women who so generously sacrifice so much for our country, thank you for your selflessness and courage. You will never be forgotten!
For the entire month of May, Fayetteville/Cumberland County has been honoring and celebrating our soldiers, veterans and their families through the 3rd annual 31 Day Salute, a month-long celebration of performances, ceremonies, exhibits and activities where we invite the world to do what we do every day-show our appreciation, respect and support for those who serve and have served in the armed forces.
On Saturday, May 21st, The Army’s Army hosted a “Care Package Drive” for our troops. The event was held at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum coinciding with their 31 Day Salute “Movie-N-The Camp” event. Museum attendees had the opportunity to put together a personal care package for a soldier that will be sent to those deployed overseas with the help of Fort Bragg’s Family Readiness Program.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the Airborne & Special Operations Museum for all their support and efforts.
We would also like to thank everyone who donated items to our troops!
