ARMY'S ARMY HAPPENINGS
American Taekwondo Association Martial Arts Regional Tournament: Hometown Heroes
On Saturday, February 12, The American Taekwondo Association Martial Arts Regional Tournament: Hometown Heroes will be held at the Crown Coliseum Expo Center. This tournament will be dedicated to saluting our wounded veterans who are Purple Heart recipients. We would like to recognize these individuals for their bravery and sacrifice to our country. A portion of the entry fees will go to the local chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart to help these combat wounded veterans. The Army's Army has invited many Purple Heart recipients from Fayetteville who will be attending this event as special guests. This will be your opportunity to say "thank you!" We are grateful to these individuals and would like to offer you and your family the opportunity to show your support and appreciation.
Operation Heartfelt Salute
The Army's Army will be partnering with Cross Creek Mall for Operation Heartfelt Salute beginning Saturday February 12, through Saturday, March 12.
CBL Properties in the Carolinas will be kicking off a month-long military appreciation campaign entitled Operation Heartfelt Salute on February 12. The event will begin with a letter writing campaign, care package drive, "Tunes for the Troops drive," and $1.00 red, white and blue bracelet sales (where 100 % of the proceeds will go towards the military).
We are looking for members to volunteer their time throughout the month.
Army's Army Recruitment Month
During Operation Heartfelt Salute the Army's Army will be at the Cross Creek mall recruiting new members. We are looking for volunteers to help recruit and man the booth.
We will need volunteers to help support our efforts on Saturday, February 19; Saturday, February 26; Saturday, March 5; and Saturday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Please contact me if you are able to help volunteer.
