MILITARY FAMILY IN GREAT NEED OF YOUR HELP!

Dear Army's Army Members,

The Lathrop family could really use your help. Lucinda and her husband Nathan, an active duty member of the Army who will soon be redeploying for 18 months, are struggling financially and living day-to-day caring for their six children, four of whom have serious medical conditions.

Together, the Lanthrop family has three daughters, ranging in age from 5 to 18, and three sons, ranging in age from 9 to 16.  Lucinda, along with four of her children, are dealing with serious illnesses including epilepsy, lung disease, breast cancer, and bone marrow disease. The family is looking to the Army’s Army for assistance in this time of need to help get them through.

If you’d like to help, please see the list of items below that would help the family tremendously and contact me to arrange delivery of the items.

Home is in need of overall repair - Rooms need to be re-painted / Back door replaced (supplies or gift certificate to Home Store, Home Depot) / Carpet and laminate flooring replaced

Transportation:
Gift card/ - Gas (family currently drives to Duke to obtain medial care that is not covered at local provider)
Gift card - Oil change and tune-up for car

Food:
Canned food (note: one child is on a special cholesterol-free diet)

Educational:
School Supplies for all children

Medical:
Gift cards for prescription co-pays, eye care and glasses
