ARMY'S ARMY HAPPENINGS
ORIENTATION WEEKEND - WHAT A SUCCESS!
Last weekend, April 23-25, Fayetteville/Cumberland County held its first ever Relocation Orientation Weekend for Department of Defense families based in Atlanta.
Many wonderful Army's Army members and CTA volunteers served as buddies for the visiting families, giving them the perspective of an actual resident. Our visitors were overwhelmed with the love and hospitality they received. For photos, click here.
HERE'S SOME OF OUR RAVE REVIEWS:
"We want to thank the Army's Army because they did such a great job - they went out of their way to make us feel welcome." - Larry and Cindy Howenstein
"It's a great honor to be here - they rolled out the red carpet for us."
- Sylvia Aodutola
"We felt like we were meeting old friends, instead of meeting people for the first time."
- Christopher and Faye Grover
A big thank you to our partners: FACVB, BB&T, Crown Center, Specialty Properties, Choose Fayetteville, Century 21, Heritage Place, DEX, HAU Furniture, Townsend Real Estate, The Arts Council, Coldwell Banker, PWC, Food Lion, and Express Staffing.
