Time, Talents and Tithes
Lent is a good time to pray about your giving of time, talents and treasures, giving back to God what God has first given us. Mt. Hermon is in need of your assistance in all of these areas. Your prayerful consideration to your giving is much appreciated.

Easter Egg Hunt
April 23rd
10 am - 12 pm
Join us for a morning of fun as we hunt Easter eggs, have games, and crafts for the children, and close with a light lunch. Everyone is invited to attend.. Call Barbara Linker for more information 704-788-8354.

This Sunday
A Season of Discovery and Discernment
This Sunday morning, March 27, all services will come together to move through a process of discovery and discernment, in preparation for moving forward with the call process.
Registration and activities begin at 9 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Children's activities and childcare for the little ones is also available in the Children's Education Bldg (thank you Tracy & Morgan Beauregard, Jacob & Cole Karvonen, Cheris and Josh Copeland).
We need your help with parking. If walking or climbing stairs are not an issue for you, please park in the upper parking lot. If stairs and walking are challenging, please park in the back parking area near Fellowship Hall.
Enjoy new relationships, renewed excitement, shared vision and mission, and conversation in small groups about experience, values and service.

YAMS - Youth at the Mount
 April 10th - Luncheon & Silent Auction - The Youth and Parents will host this celebration event in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the morning service and process - around 11:30 am. Come join in the fun, enjoying a good lunch, bid on baskets donated by the various teams and individuals at Mt Hermon, and celebrate the completion of our 3 weeks of Discovery & Discernment. Lunch is free. Donations and Auction donations will be for the youth who are planning to attend the Lutheran Youth Conference 2012.

Welcome to William and son, Quinton Ardner and fiancee Tracey Starnes, Chris and Christy Nall Beaver, Sara Fink, Daniel, Amanda, Caydee and Mason Holder, and Matt & Kelly Tanner. Kathy & Dick Tolbert became Associate Members, and Michael, Karen, Megan and Matthew Diskin, and David & Wilma Parker re-affirmed th eir membership.

Property Clean-Up Day 
April 9th,
8:30 am - 12 noon
Come Help With Spring Clean-Up to Prepare for Easter. Bring the family, or come alone and give some time to making the church property beautiful. We need people to dust the pews, wash windows, garden, clean gutters, and more. Can't help this particular day? Call to see what you can do another time. This would make a good family project for our Confirmation Students. Also, youth meet at noon this same day to prepare for the Luncheon the following day.

YAMS - Youth at the Mount
April 9th - Come help with Clean Up at Mt Hermon 8:30 am-noon. Then, lunch at 12 noon, and help prep for our Lucheon and Silent Auction (Baskets).
April 10th - Luncheon & Silent Auction - Youth and Parents will host this event in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the morning service and process - around 11:30 am.
April 17th - Visiting Mt Hermon's Shut-Ins for Easter - enjoy bringing flowers to our shut-ins and remind them they are an important part of Mt. Hermon's Community.
YAMS vs Council Basketball Game - May 22nd. Practices are May 1 and 15th at 5 p.m. More information to come.

Mt. Hermon received an Appreciation Certificate in February from Cooperative Christian Ministeries for Mt Hermon's participation in the ministry they provide to the community. Thank you for your faithfulness in ministry.
Dear Pastor, Linda, Betty and Congregation, Thank you for the prayers and kind thoughts for my dad as he fought his lung cancer. He died in his home with family around on Jan. 17th. I am thankful he no longer suffers and is with God. Thank you for the stunning Peace Lilly and the prayers with it as we grieve. God Bless - Kim Sholly
