Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

Making Christ Known:

Epiphany is by definition appearance. We celebrate the appearance of Christ in the world. The Word of God has become flesh. This is the same Word that went forth by the power of the Holy Spirit and created the heavens and the earth. This is the same Word that came to the prophets long ago and revealed the building plan of God for the people of God. Now that Word has become flesh in Jesus Christ. Epiphany, however is much more than pointing to the birth of Jesus a long time ago. Now, through the power of the same Spirit, God has been born in us. Jesus Christ dwells in each of us. That changes our mission drastically. We are not called to just tell of Jesus. We are called to be the presence of Christ in the world. Making Christ known is being the Word made flesh in our day and time.
