What is Child Care Information Data System (CCIDS)?
Child Care Information Data System (CCIDS) is a statewide automated system for publicly funded child care (PFCC).  CCIDS automates the payment and eligibility process for all participants in Ohio's PFCC program. An informational email was sent to providers on Monday, April 4, 2011.

ODJFS continues to prepare for the release of the Ohio Electronic Child Care system (ECC).  Webinars for child care providers will be offered on the ECC system.  Watch your mail and email for details, including dates and times, for these child care provider training opportunities.

The CCIDS Provider Portal offers the option of adding a second email address to the system.  To add a second email address, log into the provider portal and select "Update Primary/Secondary Email Address".  The primary email address continues to be the email address of record.  However, e-blasts will be sent to the secondary email address as well.  The portal will be unavailable due to routine system maintenance on the following dates/times: Wed., April 23 & Fri., April 29 from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

Providers should have received a Provider Equipment Agreement packet via US Mail from ACS or via email from ODJFS.  This mailing contained important information about the card reading Point of Service (POS) device and installation.  An updated Provider Equipment Agreement was recently emailed to all providers from the CCIDS Help Desk.   If you have not already done so, please complete the packet and return the documents to ACS.  To obtain copies of the documents that were in the mailing, please visit the CCIDS web page: http://www.jfs.ohio.gov/cdc/childcare.stm  If you have questions about documents contained in the packet please call the ACS Equipment Help Desk at 1-866-217-1076.
When Will I Get My Swip Card Machine?
There will be a pilot beginning in September 2011 and statewide rollout in November 2011.  The purpose of the Pilot phase is to test the system to ensure that everything is working as expected.  This Pilot phase also allows for feedback from the counties, providers and families. Providers in the following counties are participating in the ECC Pilot:  Champaign, Logan, Marion, Ross, and Union.  Providers in the Pilot counties have already been contacted by their county department of job and family services.  The remaining counties will begin using the ECC system at the time of the statewide roll out.
