Dear SEPTA Members and Friends,

We hope you all had a great summer!  We would like to welcome you to the 2012-2013 school year.  We were fortunate to have attended the Superintendant's Conference Day this week and are very pleased about the school district's initiatives to enhance the curriculum and the use of technology to help students succeed.

We would also like to welcome back Dr. Anthony Minotti as Asst. Supt. for Student Support Services.  We are grateful that he is now 100% focused on special education and other student support services. In addition we welcome Roni Kramer as the Director of Special Education.   SEPTA is looking forward to another year of working collaboratively with the district on programs to meet the needs of our children with learning differences and special needs.

We are happy to report that last year we awarded grants in excess of $5000 to teachers and staff across the district.  We look forward to seeing these grants benefit students in many ways and thank all the teachers involved.

We wish you all the best over the next few weeks of school and we hope to see you at our events soon - starting with the SEPTA Welcome Back Breakfast next Friday morning.
