Dear SEPTA Members & Friends,

As we start a new year together, SEPTA is here for you - we want to welcome everyone to learn about SEPTA and to benefit from our mission and our efforts to help kids, parents and staff.  SEPTA recognizes that many kids have special needs - such as attentional or executive functioning issues, social interactions, anxiety, learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.  Some may receive special education, academic intervention (AIS) or other support services or have a 504 plan.  Some may not yet receive support or services.

We are committed to helping all understand kids' needs and enabling kids to be as successful as possible.  We hope that whether you have a special needs child or not, that you will support SEPTA and its mission - your support will help many children, parents and school staff.

We invite and encourage EVERYONE to join SEPTA

  • If you have a child or know a child with a learning or social difference - whether or not they receive special education - please join SEPTA!
  • If you teach or support a child with a learning difference or special need, please join SEPTA!
  • If you or anyone you know ever needed help to understand something, to make a friend or to overcome a challenge, please join SEPTA!

SEPTA is the District-wide PTA that supports children with differences, staff and parents from grades pre-K through grade 12.  Your membership and support enables us to provide informative speaker programs, parent programs, in-depth newsletters and grants to teachers and other staff that benefit children and help them succeed.

Please print the SEPTA membership form and mail it in with your check  or return it to your SEPTA school representative!  Questions?  Contact SEPTA Membership VPs Debbie Ezbitski or Elisabeth Weisman.
