To learn more about becoming a Divine Lover, click here _____________________________________________________________________________ Seminar One - March 10 & 11, 2012 (This seminar is a prerequisite for participation in all other seminars and/or advanced classes)  This paradigm-shifting seminar will introduce you to all the fundamental concepts employed in Sat Yoga classes. It will enable you to participate fully in discussions and to think in new ways about your life and reality in general. The insights you will gain from this weekend workshop will enrich your life immeasurably. Knowledge is power. This information will give you the ability to transform your sense of who you are and of how you live. But be prepared to be stunned, if you have not encountered this information before. The truth has the effect of shock and awe. It will shake you out of your comfortable (and/or miserable) egoic certainties and offer a new horizon of possibilities to attain. If you seek something more from life than you had been told was available, if you have been plagued by "a splinter in your mind," then you will find relief in the wisdom that you will receive in this extraordinary presentation.
In addition to the Lightfall of Knowledge that will cascade upon you, there will be structured and guided meditations that will take you into higher dimensions of Being that will enable you to liberate yourself in real time from the delusions of Maya. You will learn the art of mastery over the ego mind. You will learn to wield the true phallus -- the Sword of Spiritual Power. You will learn that you can silence the mind at will and enter the Supreme Reality.

Partial scholarships available to those with financial limitations (but our number of scholarships are limited, so please inquire soon). Please talk to Radha if you need a reduced fee and can do karma yoga in exchange. Students who have already attended Seminar One but would like to take it again, can participate for half-fee ($100). To secure your seat, we are asking for a 50% Non-refundable deposit.

This Tuesday, February 14, the weekly Young Adults Group will be cancelled, as Saraswati and Purusha will be preparing for the Divine Love is Real! retreat at Arunachala. Also, as a general change, Young Adults Group will now officially begin at 5:00pm. And we want to announce that this group is for students between 18-30 years of age. We ask that everyone please respect this age restriction in order create a secure environment and to give younger students an opportunity to speak freely and uninhibitedly about the specific issues that they face during this important time in young adulthood. Critique of Poor Reason
The ego uses reason poorly. The ego's hidden agenda is always to flee from its own true Source. Thus, it employs a poor version of reason to create false ideas and construct defense mechanisms to protect its ignorance of its own real being from ever becoming unmasked-and transcended. This is a poor use of reason indeed.
This is all that can be expected of a false self. Once imagined, through the implantation of the I-thought and its gradually increasing attendant complex of signifiers, self-images, and signature emotions, the ego must keep its auto-illusion rolling along to avoid the fantasized catastrophe of ego death and depersonalization, which it depicts to itself as the ultimate dread, horrific lack, lostness, and abandonment in a barren void.
All such negative thought-forms are the real terrorist attacks, perpetrated on our entranced consciousness by the ego apparatus upon itself. These self-attacks, the false flag operations of the inner censor, originally a stimulus overload barrier grown out of control, can burgeon into full-blown anxiety attacks, which can then in turn bloom into psychosomatic symptoms and a morbid fear of both death and life. In fact, all psychopathology can be traced back to such auto-terrorism of the false self...

"Here Comes the Sun" Retreat Ushers in Solar Age
 The Solar Age is upon us. The Sun, once obscured by clouds of illusion, the bad faith of our egoic malfeasance, again shines unperturbed in Her resplendent glory and heralds the return of Her Son, Their Song again to be sung. Have you heard? It has already begun.
The Sat Yoga New Year's retreat, "2012: Here Comes the Sun," which began on December 28, 2011, reminded everyone of the immensity of the change that is rapidly approaching, in both its solemnity and its splendor. It delivered a dharmic dose of the Real into the ego's false imaginary existence. It provided strength, courage, and love; safety and exposure. It pushed the limits and yet steadied the course. All the opposites intermingled, producing anxiety, ecstasy-and integration; all the power needed for the ultimate peregrination: from egoic enslavement to Liberation.

"¡Qué linda la vida!" - Sat Yogis Visit an Organic Farm
 As we climbed up the tierra blanca (white land) of the Irazú volcano, passing the district where solo rosas (only roses) grow, we approached the "Rinconcito Orgánico Irazú." Going off the main road we looked for a black and white gate that marked our entryway into the first organic farm founded north of Cartago (the original capital of Costa Rica). We were greeted by the smiling faces of Don Rodolfo (aka Tigre) and his son Juan Pablo. Rodolfo, in his characteristically cheerful manner, welcomed us blithely, exclaiming, "¡Qué linda la vida!" Kalpa Tree Planted at La Colina - Asoyoga Conference

Looking for Yogi House!
Dear Friends, Some of our sangha members are looking for a house to rent near the urban institute in Escazú as a practical, shared living arrangement. The residents of the house would be disciplined, hygienic, respectful students of Sat Yoga, although the actual members may rotate, as we are doing ever more frequent karma yoga trips back and forth between Escazú and the Ashram. We are looking for an option that could house approximately five or more yogis.
