Sat Yoga Announcements
Sat Yoga Seminar One: The Red Pill
Painting by Alex Grey | This paradigm-shifting seminar will introduce you to all the
fundamental concepts employed in Sat Yoga classes. It will enable you to
participate fully in discussions and to think in new ways about your
life and reality in general. The insights you will gain from this
weekend workshop will enrich your life immeasurably. Knowledge is power.
This information will give you the ability to transform your sense of
who you are and of how you live. But be prepared to be stunned, if you
have not encountered this information before. The truth has the effect
of shock and awe. It will shake you out of your comfortable (and/or
miserable) egoic certainties and offer a new horizon of possibilities to
attain. If you seek something more from life than you had been told was
available, if you have been plagued by "a splinter in your mind," then
you will find relief in the wisdom that you will receive in this
extraordinary presentation. In addition to the Niagara of
Knowledge that will cascade upon you, there will be structured and
guided meditations that will take you into higher dimensions of Being
that will enable you to liberate yourself in real time from the matrix
of Maya. You will learn the art of mastery over the ego mind. You will
learn to wield the Sword of Spiritual Power. You will learn that you can
silence the mind at will and enter the Supreme Reality. You
have the Power. But you must learn to use it. Seminar One is the
opportunity to do that. But the Rabbit Hole is deep, and you will never
be the same. Join us if you dare. Shunyamurti will be the lead
teacher this time. This may be the last
time he will teach this seminar.Time: 10am-5pm Saturday and Sunday,
May 29 & 30.Lunch and refreshments included both days.Tuition: $200. (partial scholarships
available to those with financial limitations. Please talk to Radha if
you need a reduced fee.) Students who have already attended Seminar One
but would like to take it again, can participate for half-fee.Please
register at least one week in advance. Thank you.

Sat Yoga's May Film Series!
The Sat Yoga Institute is happy to present our Fund-Raising Film Series for May. The films we screened in April received a very high level of approval for their mind-opening information and high quality of production. We have another series of mind-expanding hits lined up for this month. Last month, we focused on films related to the food system, nutrition, and health. This month, we focus on a mix of physics and metaphysics. Please come and support our community, and participate in these exciting and educational events. Each film will be followed by a lively discussion.
May 7: Tesla: Master of Lightning. This film explores the life and work of one of the greatest scientists of the modern age. His work is responsible for the development of our large-scale power systems, and many of his insights are being used today in top-secret projects, for purposes he would no doubt have opposed. Tesla was a yogi as well as a scientist, a visionary whose ideas have still not been fully understood and digested. His most profound discoveries are of great importance to those on the path of serious yogic achievement. The implications for the development of siddhis are enormous. You will not want to miss this important film, especially as Tesla's work will be the basis of a great deal of our future studies.
May 14: Tonight we screen an amazing double feature. The first film is called Holes in Heaven? HAARP and Advances in Tesla Technology. We continue with the study of the consequences of Tesla's research, focusing on how the government is experimenting with our atmosphere in ways that could damage the health of planetary life.
There is great controversy over the charges that are being leveled at HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Project). Critics say the technology could blow a massive hole in the upper atmosphere, adversely affecting weather patterns as well as disrupting the subtle magnetic energies of all life on Earth. Others say its ultimate purpose is advanced surveillance, or even mind control. Still others link it to a defense against extraterrestrial invasion. Whatever the truth may be, you will be far more informed after seeing this extraordinary film.
This will be followed by Cognition Factor, the story of one man's search for enlightenment in the digital age. Many of the most famed minds of our time, including Terence McKenna, Rupert Sheldrake, and Ralph Abraham, offer their insights into the major metaphysical questions that stir our souls.
May 28: The Quantum Activist. This heart-warming documentary exploring the mystical yogic insights of a renowned physicist from India, Amit Goswami, will help you achieve a more complete paradigm shift to a new way of understanding reality. Goswami explains clearly how our current mainstream ideology has led to the environmental, social, economic, and spiritual crisis in which our world is now caught. The way out begins with spiritual self-transformation. Don't miss this revelatory presentation!
May 21: We will finally screen the film that has probably had the greatest impact on the consciousness of the masses in recent times. The Matrix explores the ancient idea that the world is Maya, an unreal illusion. In this version, however, the illusion is not created by the Supreme Being but by advanced machines with artificial intelligence that no longer want human interference. The philosophic depth of this film is unusual for a Hollywood production, but this of course is interwoven with violent special effects, including the obligatory kung fu action scenes. So if you are sensitive to loud, techno music, sometimes disgusting mind-warping visuals, and mega kick action, then you may want to skip this one. But on the whole, we believe it is worth the ordeal to understand how the Wachowski brothers, who wrote and directed this film, have integrated the ideas of Bishop Berkeley and Jean Baudrillard to create an unprecedented mind-shift in pop culture. Since we will be studying the work of the two above-named philosophers, it will provide a good basis for future discussions.

Premaculture Book Group: Hidden Nature
This month in our Premaculture Book Group, we will be studying Hidden Nature: The Startling Insights of Viktor Schauberger, by Alick Bartholomew. Hidden Nature is a mind-blowing portal into the life and times of Austrian naturalist, Viktor Schauberger (1885-1958). Higher dimensions, eco-technology, and spiritual insights were the playground of Schauberger's rare and revolutionary brilliance. Schauberger, a Natural genius in every sense of the term, deeply opposed the reductionistic, mechanistic ideology of modern science--which he felt would lead to ecological disaster years before climate change was even a twinkle in any environmentalist's eye--and instead preferred to learn from the subtle energies and from examples of Nature itself. If you are interested in rediscovering the sacred in science, free energy, anti-gravity, or learning more about this controversial figure whose findings, if taken seriously, "would mean rewriting all the textbooks in the world," then we invite you to attend our first meeting on Tuesday, May 4 at 7:00pm. If this study seems of interest to you, we warmly encourage you to join our ongoing Premaculture course dedicated to the upliftment of humanity and re-creating a deeper and wholisitic connection with our sacred Mother Earth.
This course is open for enrolled students. If you have not completed our Free Orientation Program and wish to join this study group, please call 2288-3294 to begin your enrollment process. Thank you.
You are warmly welcome to join us for our
traditional Satsang gatherings. Our Satsangs are for the purpose of
meditating in a positive group energy field, for asking questions about
one's spiritual path, and exploring the depths of wisdom we have
inherited from all the world's great spiritual teachers. Satsangs are followed by healthy refreshments from Radha's Kitchen. Read more.... Schedule: Thursday, May 27 at 7pm

Please Join the KGB
True Sat Yogis must be members of
the KGB. In this case, of course, KGB does not refer to the defunct
Soviet intelligence agency. Rather, it means to be those who vow to
always act with KGB-Kindness, Generosity, and Benevolence-toward
everyone we meet, but especially toward our spiritual community.
We need to act with KGB-consciousness
because we know that in these final days of Kali Yuga everyone who is
not a true Sat Yogi is in a state of hyper-sensitivity, emotional
fragility, paranoia, lost-ness and confusion. So we must offer KGB-here,
it also means Kali Good-bye Blessings-to help people recognize that it
is time to return to the Light, to leave behind this plane of illusion
and merge once more into the Supreme Reality. We can only give that
message, non-verbally of course, if our consciousness is already united
with the Supreme One. Read the full essay...
