The English Road Show started its journey in Nagpur and Ahmedabad in September and is now on its way to Thrissur and Jaipur in the month of November 2011. Road Show in Thrissur will be conducted on 12 November 2011 at Devamatha CMI Public School, Thrissur. Contact Dr Reena Francis at Reenaputhur65@gmail.com for registrations. The ELTons are the only international awards that recognise and celebrate innovation in the field of English language teaching (ELT). New categories have been introduced this year: * Excellence in course innovation * Innovation in learner resources * Innovation in teacher resources * Digital innovation * Local innovation. The Macmillan Education Award for Innovative Writing is open to aspiring ELT authors. Deadline for applications is 2 December 2011. British Council India and Avon Mobility Solutions have recently joined forces to create Jobseekers, a product with a unique approach to mobile learning which aims to help subscribers develop their English language abilities and skills related to employability. This product is available exclusively for Tata DOCOMO users via their educational platform Tutor On Mobile (TOM).
