Do you need to include phonemic symbols in your documents? This free online International Phonetic Alphabet editor has been around since 2004. It's great for transcribing words for handouts and exercises, and there's a good explanation table with audio available, too.

Do you know your denotations from your connotations? When teaching vocabulary we need to think about areas like polysemy and the sociocultural aspects of words so our learners can get more meaning from texts. Read more, and find some fun activities, too.
