Praying Is One Powerful Tool

What an awesome thing that we get to speak directly to the Creator of the universe! Think about

that. We have got the honor and privilege to be able to directly communicate and have an

intimate relationship with Almighty God. We all truly serve an awesome God.

Our God tells us to lean on Him! To rely on Him in all things! To ask and we shall receive!

I would like to share the following verses with you. Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and

ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he

that seeketh find it; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8. And all things,

whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22.

We can pray to our God about anything. We can ask for us to have great health, we can ask that

we have great wealth and we can ask that we prosper in all things. I have done some of my best

praying on a deer stand.

One thing I have learned about prayer that has helped me a great deal is when I tell someone I

will pray for them I go ahead and do it right then. It doesn't matter where or when I just go ahead

and do it. I have to admit it felt awkward at first but it doesn't anymore. I have even finished

praying for someone in public and looked up to find others have stopped and have their heads

bowed. with us. I learned to do this from Dr. Johnny Martin. I heard him tell our Sunday school

class this is what he did. It not only helps to go ahead and pray it also helps me not forget to do

it.

Praying to our God is such an easy thing to do. God is always ready to listen to our prayers and

communicate with us. He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when He shall

hear it, He will answer thee. Isaiah 30:19.

There is power in prayer. Pray early and often and our God will reward you.

Hunting Tip:

Contrary to a long-held belief, big bucks don't always walk into the wind. Always keep this

thought in mind when looking for stand sites. It just might pay off with more big buck

encounters.
