May All The Glory Go To God!
Everyone has something to offer in their service to God. Each of us have been made in a
wonderful unique way to fulfill God's purpose for us on this earth. Whatever it may be.
Primarily we have been made the way we are to be of the utmost help to God and our fellow
man.
God has given each of us our many talents to do His good work. It all is not about me! It is all
about Him!
Be ye strong therefore, and not let your hands be weak; for your work shall be rewarded.
2 Chronicles 15:7.
I heard a preacher once say that "Jesus hung on the cross in public to pay for our sins. The least
we can do is man up and profess His name in public and share the gospel with others that we
may meet". I can do this while I am fishing with a buddy. I can do this standing around at a deer
camp. I know it is scary to share the gospel sometimes. It is scary for me with folks I know and
with folks I don't know. But it seems the more I do it though the easier it becomes. I used to
complicate sharing the Gospel. But really it is very simple. It can be done effectively in any
situation. Just plan what you are going to say and say it.
There are many forms of service we can do for our fellow man. Helping a friend, listening to a
buddy, and offering our experience, strength and hope with someone who may need it to name a
few things. I have found some of my greatest accomplishments in life have been when I did not
do anything at all except turning the situation over to God and asking him to reveal His will in
the matter. That is easier said then done sometimes. Really it is difficult most of the time. But
what a relief to experience this.
Everyone has a station in life. God has given us things to do for His glory and the furtherance of
His kingdom. Let's all make an extra effort to help one another and to "let go and let God".
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which you have shewed
toward His name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that
every one of you shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end. Hebrews
6:10-11.
