I received a call at work the other day from a friend looking for a phone number of a mutual friend of ours. As I was looking for the number we made small talk and we

did not discuss anything in particular. As I was looking over my desk my eyes came across two bright orange tickets to a Christian event that was coming up later in the
week. The thought came into my mind to ask my friend on the phone what he was doing that night. He didn't have anything that night so I asked him if he would like to attend the Christian event with me. He said he would be happy to and his demeanor seemed to change. He told me that he had been having some doubts about his walk with the Lord. That he was concerned about his role of being the effective Spiritual Head of his family. He was also concerned whether he was being the Christian Husband God wanted him to be and the Christian Father God wanted him to be. We talked about all these subjects and he made some commitments to follow through on some of the things we had discussed. In sharing these things it not only helped him but it also helped me to get back on a better "Walk" with our Heavenly Father. As we were about to end our conversation I told him about the tickets and shared the following story behind these simple but powerful two tickets I was looking at. I had those two tickets on my desk for a long time. I shared that I could not decide whether to give both tickets to someone and ask them to bring a guest or to give just one ticket away and use the other one for myself. All it required was a seemingly simple decision on my part but the tickets continued to lay there on my desk.Only when my friend called and I saw the tickets did the answer come through loud and clear. One of the tickets was for the friend on the phone the whole time I hadthem but I just didn't know it. But God did. God reveals Himself to us in many ways. I am very thankful to Him that He revealed Himself to both of us in this very practical but meaningful way. I am eternally thankful that we serve a loving and caring God who loves us and guides us. But we have to be obedient to Him. By the way we went to the event and had a powerful Christian experience. But I am sure you knew that before I even mentioned it.

Bible Verse:

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21

Hunting Tip: When hunting a new area it is best to hunt from a different stand each day for several days if possible. This gives you some insight in where the deer are

located and their travel patterns.

Take care.
