THE STORE

Experience the Middle East premiere of this evening length dance theatre piece that offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of six individuals bound together by one unforeseen and tragic event. Both touching and comical, the stories of these individuals are told through a series of tangential, stream-of-consciousness and free-association narratives interwoven with multimedia vignettes of dance, video and music. Layered over an original soundscape incorporating rap, flamenco, indie rock and Arab music, one simultaneously hears their stories and sees theit movements, revealing the complexities of their characters, their relationships, and human nature itself.

Performed by: Natasha Diamond-Walker, Josiah Guitian, Kristin Osler, Zoe Rabinowitz, Katie Schetlick, Stephanie Sutherland and Nathan Trice
Text written by: Samar Haddad King, edited Zoe Rabinowitz
